(01)

The situation

The ERP was designed for a factory that exists in a consultant’s imagination. Real orders change mid-cut. Real inventory lives in a foreman’s head. Adoption was 30% and falling, while licence costs rose annually with the reliability of a tide.

(02)

What we did

We spent time on the floor, found the twelve jobs the ERP was failing at, and built a small sharp tool for each (quoting, cut planning, scrap tracking, dispatch) on one shared event backbone. Each tool shipped in weeks and earned its place or was killed. Tablets in the shop, no logins to remember, works with gloves on.
